Lee Estelle (b. 1997) is a self taught multidisciplinary artist born & raised in East London.
Her unconventional perspective on life guides each creation.
Drawing inspiration from a colourful upbringing at the intersection of Caribbean & African culture, alongside the masterful works of artists such as Frida Kahlo & more recently Kerry James Marshall, she forms a poignant exploration of the feminine experience.
Her work often features female protagonists navigating worlds she has created, sometimes as acts of manifestation & other times as visual stories inspired by her personal experiences.
She developed a natural love for all things art from an early age. Beyond the canvas Estelle’s creativity extends into multiple disciplines across painting, design & textile, her practice carries a nostalgic energy, weaving together diverse influences to create a harmonious visual narrative.
As her work expands she continues building a space that blurs memory, emotion & manifestation inviting viewers to step into an intimate piece of her mind.
